Action Strikes strikes back
Put some strikes into your score with a library you might already own!
All-in-one orchestral playback libraries such as NotePerformer are great, but they can't do everything.
Now you can put some giant cinematic strikes into your score, as well as ethnic percussion, beefed-up bass drum and a really nice snare ensemble.
"Action Strikes" is quite an old library (it's still great!) and was bundled with NI Komplete all that time, so you might even have it hanging around: if you have Kontakt, check "Native Access" under the "uninstalled" tab to see if you can install it without extra charge!
I've used different noteheads to represent different loops: something I will be doing quite often: of course that's worthless from a notation standpoint, but boy, does it rev up the creativity.
There's a Windows version coming soon: I'm waiting for a developer security certificate (Extended Validation).
If you're a fan of other strikes libraries such as Damage, I've got a lot of other libraries to do to fill in the gaps in capability of NP before I loop back. Hopefully the community will step up and support this stuff - I've made it as easy as it can possibly be to use.
Anyway, cheers, and stay Soundsetty!
Chris
