I put a lot of work into this page and many sound sets for Avid Sibelius, but it received zero support from companies that should have been encouraging it. We could have achieved such miracles together!

Anyway, I cannot keep up with the continual flakiness of products from Spitfire and Avid (I mean, who let's an external XML file crash their application?), nor changes in the Kontakt ecosystem, so I have removed the BBC Symphony soundsets from this page, along with the other NI soundsets for Kontakt.

Writing a good sound set for Sibelius is so involved and arcane that Avid's blithe assertion that people should be creating their own is naive. Sibelius's own engine fights you much of the way, even! 

Anyway, thanks to anyone who did support me.
